The Fifth Bieleschweig Workshop on Systems Engineering:
Experience with IEC 61508; Risk Analysis

The themes of the Fifth Bieleschweig Workshop were the international standard on functional safety of E/E/PE devices, IEC 61508, and Risk Analysis. Besides contributed talks from participants (see below for the slides), there was a panel discussion on IEC 61508. It was decided to reserve a certain number of places for continued discussion of IEC 61508 in Bieleschweig Workshops for the next two to three years, in order to contribute to the revision of the standard, which activity is expected to commence soon.
